...WOODLAND WARRIOR...

A couple of weeks ago, after a fun trip tubing down a river, my friend mentioned that water was her element. It's where she feels most at peace and being in and near the water just makes her happy. It got me thinking about what my element is, as I've never really pondered it.

My initial thought was that my element was earth, but then again, maybe it was just air. I enjoy being out in nature and I love Spring and Fall. So I decided to take one little quiz to see what that result would be and it turns out it was: earth. I only took one quiz because I know myself well enough to know that if I continued, I would end up down a rabbit hole and I didn't have time for that.

Then comes along a new digital scrapbooking collection from Aimee Harrison called Camp Walden and ummm, yeah, I think earth has got to be my element. I fell in love with this collection right away and knew I needed to have it. And this seems to happen to me with a lot of outdoorsy/camp-themed collections. It might be a smallish problem.

Because we go camping at least once, almost every summer, I had tons of pictures to choose from - but the photos that immediately came to mind were the ones I used on this layout. It makes me miss this little girl my daughter used to be.

Also, someone needs to take me camping STAT!!!
