...MY SASSY GIRL...

I love it when I see a scrapbook collection and know exactly which photo(s) to pair it with. It makes the creative process quicker, sometimes A LOT quicker since I don't have to search through folder upon folder to find photos to match. Sometimes that part takes longer than even creating a layout.

This photo has always been a favorite of mine and I think Shaylyn likes it as well, seeing as how she recently had it on her phone as a wallpaper or lock screen - something. The point is, she has access to many photos of herself throughout the years and she chose this one to highlight on her phone.

When I hear the word sassy, my initial thoughts tend to go to my sister's kids. I don't know what happened, but 3 of her 4 kids have sass spilling out of them. However, for once my thoughts stuck with my kids and Shaylyn did have a bit of a sassy period. She's not so sassy these days, but there was a time. I'm just grateful Ailey kind of missed out on that whole attitude kind of thing.
