SHAYLYN
ALEXANDER
Our firstborn with a heart of gold. He enjoys music and is always listening to it. He also enjoys acting, baking, and musicals. He has a firm grasp of the Spanish language and is a great help to his mom and dad. He loves playing board games and has almost every copy of Monopoly that you can find. He is working at a local bakery and is trying to figure out his next steps.
The artist of the family. She has set big goals for herself and wants to become a successful artist (area of expertise to be decided upon). You can view her work on Instagram.
She is a happy soul who likes to have fun. City life and crowds excite her. If she isn't working or doing some artsy thing, she is usually with friends. She takes after her mother and loves her sleep. Her favorite superhero is Superman and she definitely
believes in alien life. If you want to know something about China, she's your girl. She's been obsessed with the place since she was 8.
The guy with all the ideas. This child is a happy-go-lucky kid and doesn't let much keep him down. Simple things make him happy and when he's happy, Mom's happy. This kid loves to help his dad and will fix anything that needs fixing. We rarely call this kid by his name and mostly use his nickname: Lex. He is obsessed with The Flash and he loves life as a young adult
outside of the family home.
NATHANIEL
A smart and thoughtful kid, Nate is #4. He is very inventive and comes up with ways to accomplish whatever
his mind is set upon at that time. He likes to keep us on our toes and makes good use
of our medical insurance. He loves his video games, but also likes to be with his friends. His favorite thing to do, however, is play video games WITH his friends, in their own homes. He has a big heart that he keeps hidden from most, but he shares it with me. He's always got a birthday or Christmas wishlist going and is doing a lot of what Lex did in high school. Nate's new nickname is Lex 2.0.
AILEY
Our baby girl. She is full of imagination and so creative. She used to dream of being a You-Tuber, but now that she's older, she has changed her mind. She is an awesome friend and tries to be there for her friends when they need her. She doesn't like bad weather and thrives in environments that are familiar to her. New places can kind of make her nervous. Her creativity knows no bounds and she is an artist in her own right.
JACEN
Our little blondie. He loves being a big brother - even if it is just to one sibling. He has the cutest little voice and the way he pronounces the 'j' sound is awesome. He loves playing with toys and hanging out with his little brother. He loves all things superheroes, cars, trains & dinosaurs. Sonic the Hedgehog is always on his mind and he can't get enough of YouTube, unfortunately. He is sweet and tender and has a hard time when life doesn't go the way he thinks it should.
ZACHARIAS
The baby of the family. He is lots of fun and keeps us all laughing. He loves to hang out with Jacen and his friends. He's a bit lost if he doesn't have a friend to play with. Shaylyn is one of his most favorite people ever and if Mommy's not around, Shaylyn is a great replacement. He already hates school and lives to be outdoors. He has a bit of a stubborn streak and doesn't like to be told what to do. He wants to be a firefighter or policeman when he grows up. Batman is his favorite superhero and his current love is making YouTube videos.
