From the first time I read the description for this next challenge, I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use. However, it wasn't one I had. My daughter had it taken when she went to an event and so it was in her files. Her life is crazy busy and so it took a bit for her to actually get the photo to me, but I was so glad when she did.
This challenge was fairly open-ended. Our only 'rule' to go by was that the page had to have something to do with wings. I saw a lot of people bring wings in with the elements they put on their page, which was a great route to go.
My picture? My daughter stood in front of a mural. In my mind, I thought it was one of those paintings of wings where you stand in the middle. The picture she sent my way, however, wasn't that. However, she was standing in front of some time of bird - so I still got my wings in there.
I honestly love how this all came out, but I struggled when it came to journaling. I searched the interwebs for good quotes or poems and happened across a perfect poem. It was written by someone I don't know, but it fits in perfectly with the overall theme of my layout, as well as describing my daughter, so I'm glad the writer chose to share it publicly.
