...WHAT'S YOUR SIGN?...

I've never put a whole lot of stock into the whole zodiac thing. It's always been more for entertainment value for me, though I have seen things that very much ring true for each of the signs in different people.
When I was in my early teens and had my own money, I would occasionally buy little horoscope scrolls from the checkout lane and promptly hide them somewhere my mom wouldn't find them. I knew she wasn't a fan and I thought I'd be in so much trouble if she knew I had them. Knowing what I know about her now, and being a mother myself, I know her 'issues' with the horoscope thing was that I'd put way too much stock into it and use it to guide my life.
These days, I find myself using the zodiac as more of a tool to understand my quirks and personality traits. I haven't really looked at a horoscope in years. I've learned good and bad happens to us all, regardless of when we were born.
Now with all of that being said, I got super excited when I happened across the zodiac series that Aimee Harrison and JB Studio released. I quickly grabbed up the collections that were available for my family members at the time, and then I had to wait for months to finish it up. There were 4 of us who had signs with collections that had yet to be released.
Then I ran into another obstacle...pictures of me in my childhood are hard to come by. There were plenty to choose from when I was a baby up to about 3 years old. But then, my parents purchased a video camera and photos became less of a thing. So, I had to search for my pictures. And then I had to find some that I didn't absolutely abhor. I definitely had a very awkward stage that lasted a much longer time than any normal person.
I was trying to keep all layouts mostly uniform as far as ages went, which was another reason finding my pictures was difficult. In the end, I decided I just needed to find something and to just get the layout done and posted.
I now give you a glimpse into the crazy that is our household zodiac. Somehow, we managed to only hit one sign twice and those are my Aquarius babies.
ARIES
Baby #4 is our Aries.

GEMINI
Child #3 is the zodiac twinner. Which is kind of funny when you learn he shares a birthday with his uncle.

CANCER
Our first-born is a cancer and though I may not put a whole lot of stock into the zodiac thing, this Cancer of ours, puts a whole lot of stock into it.

SAGITTARIUS
My husband and I were born two weeks apart and thankfully, that two weeks fell into a timeframe where he ended up as the next star sign.

There are no Capricorn's in this house, but we were blessed with two wonderful Aquarius children.
AQUARIUS
Child #2 and the baby of the family were born within a week of each other, so really it shouldn't be a surprise that they share a sign. Yet, somehow, I always forget and child #2 likes to mock me for it.

And we have no Pisces, though I do know at least one in my extended family.
I really enjoyed this project through and through. It was fun to search for pictures of the kids from their younger days and I really like how it shows age-progression for each of us. And though there are many different personalities wandering around our humble abode, the love and friendships are strong.
One day I may have to do something with my current personality studies: the enneagram.
