When it comes to scrapbooking, I don't pay much attention to what the calendar says. I'll scrap Christmas in the dead heat of the summer, Halloween at Christmas, Easter on New Year's, and so forth and so on. This is something you've probably noticed over time, as you get more familiar with me and this blog of mine.

The next challenge I looked into was simple: scrap a page with a large title. There were plenty of pages I had wanted to scrap, and just never took the time to do, so it was a perfect time to scrap one of these pages and then throw on a large title.

The layout had to do with my husband and mine's Halloween costume this past Halloween. As I wrote on my Instagram post about it:

"...when we got invited to his good friend's Halloween party again this year, he {my husband, Eric} had to be a good sport.⁣
I wanted us to go with the same theme, but we could NOT settle on anything! We had more conversations about costumes in the past month than we've had in our whole relationship. ⁣
Eric tried to have a good attitude and to get excited about dressing up, but I struggled with a lot of his ideas for various reasons. ⁣⁣
Then after a lot of discussions and back and forth, we finally settled on Steampunk.⁣
You guys!!! He even bought boots for this costume. BOOTS!!! ⁣
I'm not sure I know this guy anymore."

I'm not kidding when I say I was sick of talking about costumes. Then I thought we were being fairly original and not a lot of people would do the same thing. Thankfully no one at the party did, however, my nephew and his mom (ex-sister-in-law) had the same idea. Hahaha. So not quite as original as I had thought, but at least we didn't have competition AT the party.
