...ST. PADDY'S DAY...

The Scrap-a-thon took place in March, so of course, we're going to have a few layouts that have to do with St. Patrick's Day!

I took on the Quote Challenge next. I don't know when/where it happened, but at one point I fell in love with quotes. In high school, I even had my own little collection. At first, I just had them written down, but a few years after I got married, I typed them all out and put them in a binder with all of the poetry I wrote at the time. I still have that binder and the quotes.

So, a quote challenge was one I was happy to take on. Because it was the month of the wearin' o' the green, it seemed fitting that the quote came in the form of an Irish blessing.

"May your troubles be less

and your blessings be more,

and nothing but happiness

come through your door"

How much more fitting could it be for a mother to wish this for her children? So that's where I went for this quote. I actually looked up the preferred way to say St. Paddy's Day, and as I somewhat suspected, it's much more preferred to use two d's as opposed to two t's. Once again, I'm doing some learnin' as I scrap.
