...SPACE CADETS...

We're now entering a space in time when life seemed just a little bit easier. We had fewer kids and the worries and cares my little kids had were simple ones and usually easily fixed. I've decided that the older the kids get, the worries become greater and in some ways, it's harder to be a parent to big kids than little kids.

I'd been working on the slideshow for my daughters' wedding, so a few older pictures had been on my mind and when I saw that the Free With Purchase kit for May was space-themed, I knew exactly which photos to pair with it. I got even more excited when I started working with the kit and realized that there were colors in this collection that actually worked quite well with the colors in the photos. Win-win all around.

The little boys in these photos are now almost 18 and 22 and they both tower over me these days. It's a little bittersweet to see these old photos and realize how much they've changed and grown over the years. However, their personalities haven't changed all that much and I'm glad to have some of these memories to look back on.
