Life can be hard for every one of us and so, for the most part, I try to stay upbeat and not take things too seriously. I don't always succeed, but I do try. I think I do this more in photos I take and the way I tend to create my scrapbook pages. And this next one really is just more fun and humorous than anything else.

My husband and I are more likely to stay at home than go and do anything with a large crowd. We ignore most of our city events. I ignore them because I really, really struggle with crowds. He ignores them because they're just a waste of his time and energy and he'd rather be doing anything else. So how we ended up at our city's Halloween event one year is still baffling to me.

They had businesses passing out candy and a farm in the area gave everyone a free pumpkin. There were a few other things for the kids to do as well as a small car show. I'm not really a car aficionado, but there are a few cars that I think have a cool design, so we wandered over there.

I don't really know what I was expecting, but I certainly got a laugh out of this car that I scrapped a page about. I don't know the owner of the vehicle, but I have decided that they are my kind of people!
