I've lived in a landlocked state my whole life and most of our family vacations took place in other landlocked states. So I've honestly never been to a real beach that I can remember. Then I end up marrying a guy who isn't a huge fan of the water and beach life doesn't really sound all that exciting to him.

So when kits come up with a beach-type theme, I really struggle. Our oldest daughter went to a California beach with her best friend a few years ago and I had already scrapped those photos. I could steal pictures from my little sister who has plenty of beach pics to use, but she's crazy busy and I don't always have the time to wait for her life to slow down and get me photos. So when Summer Holiday came around for us to work with, I was at a bit of a loss.

Then I remembered that for our last anniversary my husband and I stayed in a Caped Cod themed hotel room. I didn't take any pictures of the room, but for funsises I had my husband take some shots of us in front of the wall. I decided I could use one of those photos.

When it came time for a title, I thought back to my county music listening days and knew Kenny's Chesney's song On The Coast of Somewhere Beautiful would make a good title. The song doesn't really fit the mood of my page, but I just needed the title anyway.
