When I was in Jr. High, we had to take at least one semester of art. At the time I didn't have strong feelings one way or the other about it, but I soon discovered that art WAS NOT my forte and I struggled in that class.

My husband attended the same school, so we occasionally discuss things about that school, even though we didn't really know each other at the time. One topic we discuss every so often is the fact that they made this art class a requirement. My husband didn't feel he did well in the class, either and he was super frustrated he had to take it.

Then along comes daughter #1 and she wows us with her artistic ability fairly on. She took art as often as she could during school and in High School, she had a project that she completed that was then hung up in the school's library for everyone to see.

I don't remember if she talked about this assignment or not, but one day I get a text from her with a photo of her standing by her drawing in the library. I joked a bit that hanging her art in the library was the only way to get her inside of a library, but I was honestly super proud of her artwork and so glad she thought to have her friend take a picture and send it along to me.

This photo needed a great collection to complement it, so I was overjoyed when Aimee Harrison released Art Therapy. It was perfect and colorful and I am pleased with the way this all came together.
