...MEMORIAL DAY 2021...

It was July's collab from North Meets South Studios, with the buzzword being: GOODNESS. I don't know why July's layout came after August and spoiler alert: since I'm backdating a few of these posts, I can't remember what happened now, either.

I do know that I wasn't feeling the whole Independence Day vibe of this kit and so I had to think on it a bit to come up with something.

At some point in time, I started having my kids wear reds, whites and blues on Memorial Day as well. It's something that has lasted for years now and so I realized I could do something with this kit and base it around Memorial Day instead.

Memorial Day hits me in different ways each year. Some years I can hold my emotions in check and other years, I don't do so well. This year was an okay year and anytime we get to see extended family that we haven't seen in awhile is okay with me.

Also, this is the first family photo we have that includes our future son-in-law.
