"A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life." - Isadora James
My girls have loved having each other. It's been so fun to watch their relationship evolve. There's always been a deep love between them and it just gets better as the years go on. Their 8-year age difference hasn't mattered and I'm so glad they have each other.
My oldest daughter was upset when she found out that baby #4 was a boy. She was so upset that it broke my heart. She eventually came around by the time he was born, but it was a rough couple of months for her and me.
When we found out that baby #5 was a girl, our first daughter was over the moon. And when that baby was born, it was almost the best day of this child's life. HAHAHA!
So when I was looking at the Brush Challenge for the Scrap-a-thon and saw that it was a shamrock scatter, I felt drawn to use it for a St. Patrick's layout of my baby girls. This is one layout that came together quickly and effortlessly. I love it when that happens, and it doesn't happen often enough.
I used the brush to create patterned paper. You can see it on the left and rightmost sides of the layout.
