Where would this world be without music?
It's seriously rare for me to go even one day without listening to music at some point in my day. The listening session may vary from day to day, but if I'm doing any kind of housework, I'm going to be listening to music.
My oldest son is seriously obsessed with music and listens practically all.day.long. I still don't know how he does it without his ears screaming back at him, but he does it. I think part of it helps him deal with some of his anxiety and helps to calm him.
One day he was just sitting in the glider/rocking chair listening to his music, as he does. At some point, he was snuggling with my baby boy and he carefully put one of his earbuds next to the baby's ear. My little guy listened to the music for a second and then started 'singing' along with the music.
At the time, my only thought was to record it - not to take any pictures. But when I decided to use this month's Monthly Mix from Gingerscraps, I took some screen grabs so I could still tell the story.
