...JUST US GIRLS...

The month of May means Mother's Day and the Gingerscrap designers have no shortage of collections honoring mothers.

One such collection came from Aprilisa Designs and was titled: To The Best Mom. The collection was beautiful and I was excited to work with it, even if I didn't have a clear vision at first. But as I thought on it some more, I remembered that the extended family pictures we did way back in 2012 had all of us girls wearing pink.

There are plenty of pinks in this collection and so the variety of pinks we had in our photos would work well with the pinks of the collection. Then because it was a kit all about mothers, I knew I had to make my mom stand out in some sort of way, so for once in a very long, long while, I actually used a frame element on a layout.
