One perk of being a CTM at Gingerscraps, and one of the reasons I applied, is being able to work with designers and collections I wouldn't normally jump at working with.

This layout was one such case. The collection came from a designer whose products I had never used before, but I knew I had plenty of pictures to use with one of her newest collections and I went to work.

It was a harder collection to work with and to get things to all gel well, but I think I did an okay job. And looking at this picture brings back so many good memories from that day and how happy my little girl was to have had time with a new puppy.

I don't know how I ended up with a house full of people in love with animals, but it happened. I often joke that my husband could've been a veterinarian if he wasn't allergic to cats. My girls have taken on this love for animals from an early age and even to this day the 20-year-old and the 12-year-old are still crazy for animals.
