...HAPPY NEW YEAR...

Well, now that it's March of 2022 and I've never actually welcomed in the new year on this blog, maybe now is as good a time as any...? So, uh, Happy New Year!

What really brought this about is the latest release from Trixie Scraps. This new collection is called My Husband, My Friend and it's a wonderful collection with a very masculine feel. And even though it's geared towards the husband/wife relationship, I've seen a few layouts celebrating other relationships and I absolutely love it when a collection can be used that way.

In regards to my scrapbooking, I will come across kits where I know EXACTLY which picture(s) I will use with it. It happened with this collection and if I didn't know better, I would've thought this collection was created just for me and the photo I used.

On New Year's Eve my husband and I both wore sweaters. His had shades of grey, mine was a dark blue. We posed for a selfie and I was surprised at how well our shirts worked together and then I saw My Husband, My Friend and I knew it would all work together to create a beautiful page.
