...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!...

It’s always fun when you can use a kit for a slightly different purpose than it was intended for. It’s something I usually struggle with, so it’s always exciting for me when I can pull it off.

It was a kit aimed mainly towards Father’s Day, but something about it made me think of pictures I had with my dad on one of his birthdays. The kit is called He’s a Simple Guy and it really did make me think of my dad. He isn’t too difficult to please and the things he enjoys aren’t complicated. He’s fairly easy-going and it all just seemed to fit.

We’d been doing Girl’s Weekends for a little while and one of these weekends just happened to fall on my dad’s birthday, so I took advantage of the fact that there were only a few of us around and I made sure to take some pictures.
