For all the years I've done digital scrapbooking, my go-to store has always been GingerScraps. Yet, with all the purchasing I've done, I haven't really made myself a part of the community. I've posted to the gallery when I've 'had' to to fulfill creative team commitments and I've tried my hand at a Survivor thing they've done every year a few times. But outside of those few things, I really haven't done much more on the social aspect.

This year I found out they weren't going to be doing Survivor and instead opted for a Scrap-a-Thon. It is a way to do things at our own pace without worrying about being 'voted' off. I decided it was a good time for me to get a little more involved and it would help me create a few more layouts. Win-win!

The first challenge I decided to take on was a scraplift. And while I'd love to share the original image, I think it's best not to as I don't have permission to do so.

There was so much to love about the original layout and I am happy with the way mine came out, although it took time and not having an actual template to work from always makes me just a little bit nervous.
