There are moments in time when you catch glimpses of children and for a short moment you can see that they aren't really all that little anymore and they are growing up, and it always happens in the moments when you least expect it to.
Most of these moments happen to me when I'm looking at photos. Years ago, my mother-in-law took some photos of my oldest daughter and when I first saw them, my jaw hit the floor and my eyes started tearing up. The photos were beautiful, but they somehow made my little 5-year-old baby girl look much older.
Those photos have always remained in my memory bank and knew they'd be amazing to use with Paint Chips: Goldenrod. I still can't look at these photos without feeling all sorts of emotion. I can remember how it first felt looking at those photos and now I look at them and I kind of miss my little girl. It's strange how time changes perspectives.
