...FLOWER GIRL...

I didn’t set out to make this layout. I’ve been in the middle of a major organization project. One that’s made me refer to pictures from time to time to get a year it happened. About the same time April 2021: Peace was released I reran across these pictures from family wedding years ago. I loved the pinks in the kit and knew that these pictures would work well with the kit, so I went to work.

This daughter of mine has always been a bit of a tomboy, but she also doesn’t mind getting dressed up. Something that still rings true today. For the most part she keeps it simple and easy. Makeup occasionally. But, she absolutely loves it when she has a reason to dress up.

But because of her tomboyish nature, she also has no fear. She’s been the one to have scrapes and bruises all over and she can’t always remember what she did to get them, but she’s sure she had fun doing it. So I wasn’t at all surprised to see her tights torn. I thought about editing the photo so it wouldn’t show, but I thought it was actually important to show that side of her.

I really love the way this page came out. It’s just so pretty and feminine and not the look I get to use with her photos most of the time.
