...EMOTIONAL WHIRLWIND...

It's been a bit since I've sat down to scrap something new. I've done a couple revisits, but that's not really the same. I've been stressing about my daughter's upcoming wedding and focusing on getting her slideshow put together. Searching through 20 years worth of photos takes an unbelievable amount of time.

So, when I saw that Connie Prince and Trixie Scraps (North Meets South Studios) needed just a few more layouts with their newest Magic Memories release, I was all in! I needed a change of pace (and scenery), if only for a couple of hours.

The newest Magic Memories release is based on Inside Out, and is aptly titled: Got Feelings?. I really did enjoy working with this bundle and with all the different characters that depict emotions, this collection can be used in numerous ways.

For my layout I focused on Disgust. When we were in Disneyland this past September, three of my kids and I decided to go on the Emotional Whirlwind ride. I had some feelings about the ride itself, mainly that it's just a recycled ride, but that's besides the point and I don't know why it bothers me so much. HAHAHA. My two little guys weren't too keen on the idea of the ride, so my husband said he'd hang out with them while the rest of us rode it.

After the ride we knew kids needed some refreshments and a bathroom break, so we hurried to do those things. I spent the rest of the day/night somewhat frustrated that I didn't take advantage of the display and get some pictures in.

I can't remember how much later, but I discovered that my husband had ACTUALLY taken pictures of the little guys with Disgust. He did this without me bugging him to do so and I was floored and ridiculously happy. Eric rarely takes photos on his own volition, so it really meant a lot to me that he took the time to take these ones, especially because my youngest is awesome at making faces.
