Trixie Scraps' collection for the May Buffet was honestly such a joy to work with and I fell in love with the name of the collection almost immediately.

She named the collection You Say after the song by Lauren Daigle. This song came out at a time I really needed to hear the message. The first time I heard it I was in the car driving. I slowed down a bit and the words immediately made me think of my husband. When I got home, I actually looked into the song and lyrics a little more and realized the even deeper meaning and it's just beautiful. Definitely lyrics I need to listen to a little bit more often.

Looking into the collection, I fell in love with the color palette and wanted to find a good way to use it. I was drawn to the purples, as purple is my favorite color and so I started thinking of which photos I had where purple was a focus. The first photos that came to mind felt a little too casual for use with this collection, so after thinking a bit more I realized I had never scrapped the photos of just my husband and me from our Easter outfit photos in 2016.
