I don't remember exactly when it started, but at some point in time, my older sister started taking her nieces and nephews for a few nights and they went camping. Thus the name, Cousin's Camp. Eventually, as the family got bigger and there were more than a handful of nieces and nephews, it became necessary for parents to come along.
We've still kept the name as Cousin's Camp even though it now extended to the whole family, and there are A LOT of us.
In 2014 we found ourselves in Vernal, Utah. My older sister had moved out there and decided there was plenty of room in her backyard for tents and there were activities around her place that would keep us occupied. One such activity was going to Dinosaur National Monument. It was actually a great time killer and most of the kids enjoyed it.
Being the person that I am, I made sure we got some group photos before we called it a day.
When I saw that August's Free With Purchase kit from Gingerscraps was based around dinos, I decided it was time to put some of these cousin camp pictures to use.
