...BUCKET LIST...

Ah, bucket lists...
I don't have one.
Of course, I have many things I'd like to do sometime in my lifetime, but putting them on a list? Nah. I'd get too frustrated with myself and the world if they never panned out. Also, some of the things I'd put on my bucket list are things I don't know that I'd necessarily want others to know about either. But, that's because I'm afraid of people thinking I'm crazy or silly - those types of things. Perhaps one day I'll get over that fear. For now, that day isn't coming anytime soon.
Then along comes the Scrap-a-thon's journaling challenge. At first, I was excited. I feel like journaling is a strong point for me on my pages. But when I looked into the challenge a little more it read: "Journal a bucket list of things you want to do this year."
Uh oh.
What do I want to get out of this year? It took some thought and I went to work with the suggested kit for the challenge. And came up with the following layout. This layout is pretty different from most of the pages I create, but I like that it's just a bit original and just a bit different.
I took the layout inspiration from two different layouts featured in the Creative Sketches Volume 2 by Becky Higgins from Creating Keepsakes Magazine published in 2005. The layouts I drew my inspiration from are titled: Lost in Translation and Training Blaze.
I'll also let you in on a little secret...
This layout uses my top three favorite colors!
