...BASKETBALL...

I’m going to go ahead and say one thing: we are more baseball people than basketball people so you’ll hear more about baseball than basketball here, usually. However, I saw this basketball kit and thought it was a fun one and knew I had a few pictures that I could pair with it.

I was actually looking through my photos for something and came across a series of pictures I took in like 2012. We were on vacation and we took some time to just goof around and play some basketball. No one in my immediate family are basketball stars. My husband tried for the baseball team in high school, but ended up injuring his hand the first day of try-outs and wasn’t able to continue. None of our kids have shown any real interest in basketball, except for Shaylyn, but even she wasn’t fully on board with the idea.

However, my older sister was on the basketball team in Jr. High and she may have played in High School too, I can’t remember. I do know she played softball in High School though, so maybe she didn’t do both. She was on this vacation as well and started showing Shaylyn some tricks and from there, Tanis, Lex and my husband all eventually joined in.

I took this kit and created three different layouts with it. Each one focusing on one child. They all have some of the same photos, but the focus is definitely different. I had to make Tanis’ twice because I never actually saved it the first time I did it. I wish I could say that wasn’t the norm, but I’d be lying.
