...BABY BOYS...

There is so much about this layout that I am excited about. Let's see if I can translate that excitement into legible words.
Let's start off with the fact that Trixie Scraps designed a kit around love, but not the grown-up kind of love (though this collection would still work for that kind of layout). She focused it on the relationship between a parent and a son. I love that the focus is on a relationship with the little men in our lives. Then because its release was in February, there is still the classic color combo that you'd expect with a Valentine's kit. But! Because there were reds in this collection I was able to use it with Christmas themed photos. That fact alone excites me more than it probably should.
My youngest two boys are the best of friends and worst of enemies. That's been the norm pretty much since the beginning. And way back when, baby #6 often fought for attention at the same time as baby #7, so the photo I used in this layout was something that happened on almost a daily basis. I didn't always love it and I struggled with having personal space a lot, but looking back at it, I really don't think I would've changed anything. And yes, there are times they still fight for my attention, it's just not over my lap these days.
