Life isn't always easy, full of rainbows and sunshine. We found that out the hard way in the Fall of 2020. Our then 18-year-old daughter was involved in a very serious car accident that left her in the hospital and rehab center for almost a full month. It was not an easy time for any of us and it's hard to think about those days.

However, for me, scrapbooking is also about keeping our family history in some form. So sometimes I have to reface difficult situations in my scrapbooking. This was the case with this next layout.

While I could have done a few different things with this release, my thoughts kept returning to a particular photo of me in the hospital one of those first days. I felt it was important to put a few of my thoughts down with the photo and this was the finished result.
