I was so excited about the newest monthly release by North Meets South Studios! When I first saw the kit, I knew that I could actually scrap about one of the boys! And one of the boys I haven’t done a whole lot of pages for. So, double bonus!

2021 April: Peace released on March 26th and I seriously love everything about this kit.

When I saw that it was mainly based on the month of April, I knew that I needed to scrap a page from when my 4th kid was born. He is an April baby and the pastels in the kid coordinated with his going home outfit. This kid will soon be 13 and that kind of floors me.

We had some excitement the week before he was born. I went to the hospital certain he was coming. My father-in-law even met us at the hospital to take the older kids to their house for us. It turned out to be major Braxton Hicks, but we also learned that the hospital didn’t take our insurance – so we dodged a major bullet by not having him that day.

The induction was scheduled about a week later (at the right hospital), but it was a popular day. Women kept going into actual labor, so my induction kept getting pushed later and later. We were finally able to make it to the hospital at like 7:00 that night, but it was definitely a crazy ride and if nothing else, getting this kid here taught me a lot about patience. This kid still likes to teach me about patience.
