The second layout I completed with June’s Template Bundle was all about Shaylyn.

There was a time in my life where I actually helped my kids participate in Spirit Week’s. And to be honest, I still WANT to do Spirit Week’s for my kids, I’m just not as on top of things as I used to be.

Anyway, back in 2012 the elementary school did a Decades Day. I did the 50’s for the boys because, EASY. For Shaylyn we went with the 80’s. Because again, EASY. I think the final look really worked and I was excited to see a kit that would work well for these photos.

There was a point in this layout where I had it almost completely done and then my program froze on me. (I’m really not great at saving as I go.) So, we had to start over and this layout ended up looking better than the one I had originally done, so it was a good thing.

I will say, I’m not a huge fan of all these different patterns on one page, but I think due to the theme of the layout, I think it works well.
