...#6 @ THE ZOO...

The next challenge I completed for the Scrap-a-thon was another template challenge. I started with these template challenges because we all know how big of a fan I am of templates.

However, this template proved to be tricky. It was a little more 'busy' than the ones I usually gravitate toward, but I could also see how fun it could be to create a page using it.

TEMPLATE

My next challenge was figuring out which photos and scrapbook kit I wanted to use. And yes, I technically have a plethora of photos to choose from, but trying to use a kit I already had on hand was also something I had challenged myself to do.

I finally settled on photos from our outing to the zoo for my baby's 6th birthday. (And yes, it does kill me just a bit to say that my BABY is 6!) Then I tried to find a kit that had owls in it somewhere. Thankfully, I found all my wants with Shades of Winter and I was able to create this page celebrating the day. Also, yes. I had to do some research to figure out what the technical term is for a stuffed real-life animal. So, I'm learning as I scrap.
